CLIENT LIST

Zak is a multimedia reporter and educator with 10 years experience in the news-making industry and has worked in dozens of countries and territories. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and New York University with a B.S. in Journalism, specialization in photojournalism and Latin American studies, and a M.S. in Tech and Project Management.

His work can be viewed in The Wall Street Journal, NPR, The Daily Mail, The Miami Herald, CARE International, Vice Media and others. In the past year, he has covered stories ranging from the migrant caravans in Mexico for The Daily Mail to LGBTQ+ topics for VICE. During the summer has lead educational expeditions for The New York Times and National Geographic across South America and Europe.

Previously, Zak worked as a news editor and reporter at the Corbis Corporation and the African Refugee Development Center in Tel Aviv. At Corbis he oversaw various activities at Splash News and Demotix News. Demotix was honored at The Webby Awards in the News Category during Zak's time as a news editor at the organization.
