I was commissioned by CARE International for multiple commercial photography projects in the Peruvian Andes and Amazon, creating visual stories that show how climate change is reshaping rural communities and how farmers are adapting to new environmental pressures. The work also highlighted CARE’s programs empowering women through agricultural training, leadership development, and climate‑resilience initiatives. The assignments took me to the world’s highest tropical glaciers and remote Amazonian settlements, with two multi‑weekend trips requiring extensive high‑altitude logistics.
